AIKO’s Neostar 2N series modules are built using redesigned Type N cells and All Back Contact technology. The cells of this type are built using silver-free metallic materials, and the interconnection grid is located on the back side. The lack of silver directly translates into the durability of the electrical connections, which extends the life of the cells and the entire PV module, and the back connections result in a larger area of sunlight absorption on the front side. The use of All Back Contact technology gives a lower temperature coefficient, higher resistance to low and high ambient temperatures and thus high efficiency and durability of the modules in this series. In addition, Half-cut technology was used to build the modules, which reduces power loss, giving an additional gain in output between 5 and 10 watts.
High-quality N-type silicon wafers and optimized All Back Contact (ABC) technology also directly contribute to the low power loss in the first year of use. It amounts to no more than 1%, and no more than 0.35% in the following year. Such a result made it possible to obtain a 30-year warranty for linear power output.
AIKO 475 W is built with 108 monocrystalline N-type photovoltaic cells housed in an anodized, lightweight aluminum alloy frame, resistant to corrosion and covered with high light transmission glass. All this adds up to high performance, efficiency, higher power output compared to P-type PV modules and a 15-year product warranty.
The 1,200-mm-long wires leading out of the IP68 junction box are terminated with MC4 connectors. The module has multiple certifications: IEC61215, IEC61730 and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
